Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Below you will see some of the most frequently asked questions from our senior clients.

What do you charge to evaluate what my home is worth?

Judy will be happy to come to your home and evaluate an estimated list and sales price based on the current condition of your home as well as recent sales in your neighborhood of homes like yours.  There is no charge for this estimate.  It is the first step in deciding what will work for you.

Can I really sell my house? Will I have to spend a lot of money to get it ready?

The good news is that in the current real estate market, inventory of available homes is very low, and values have risen steadily since 2012 due to robust job growth in North Texas.  Most likely, Judy can figure a list price that will reflect an "as is" sale if that is what you prefer.

What will it cost me to sell and move?

Before Judy ever lists your home for sale, she provides you with an estimate of what it will cost you to sell your home.  If you need more information regarding purchasing another home, she will provide resources for you.  If you need information regarding retirement community costs, she will help you get the information and compare the cost of your current home vs. the cost of the community you are considering.  Her goal is to help you limit financial surprises as much as possible as well as have a plan in place for all of the "moving parts" so that you can make an informed decision.
